The "Youth Apprenticeship in America Today: Connecting High School Students to Apprenticeship" report developed by New America presents key findings, supported by policy initiatives in ten states, to guide policy makers in connecting education and workforce systems to develop and grow high quality youth apprenticeship programs.

The authors derived this report through their findings from a wide array of resources including a review of domestic and international research on youth apprenticeship; focus groups with high school parents, students and recent graduates; a national landscape scan of current youth apprenticeship activity; and interviews with practitioners and national subject matter experts about the past, current and projected status of youth apprenticeship.
